Ironhold Wardens

Ironhold Wardens is the kind of tower defence game we keep going back to. Maps are built around forcing hard choices: do you cover two lanes weakly or wall off one and gamble on the other? Towers have real trade-offs, and the upgrade trees branch in ways that change how a whole map plays.

The difficulty curve is honest. Early maps teach you the tools, then later ones assume you understand them. We lost a few late maps several times before the right build clicked, and it never felt cheap. Enemy waves are readable if you pay attention to the preview.

If you like planning a defence rather than spamming the strongest tower, this one rewards you. The only rough edge is the menu for managing upgrade loadouts, which gets fiddly once you unlock a lot of options.
